Environmental Policy
This policy outlines Spirit Careers approach to the environment.
Spirit Careers was established in 2009 to provide specialist recruitment services.
Throughout our activities and services, we will endeavour to minimise any adverse impact on the environment by means of pollution prevention, energy and water conversation. In this way, cost savings, increased operational efficiency and improved quality of products and services will be achieved as well as maintaining a safe environment for the community as a whole and a healthy workplace for the Company’s employees.
We are committed to comply with legislation, to continually improve our processes to prevent pollution so lessening our impact on the environment. We provide training and education for our employees on environmental issues and monitor and review our environmental progress on an annual basis. We have set ourselves specific objectives, which show that we aware of our impact and that we are acting upon this knowledge.
Our objectives are: -
Minimise the use of natural resources and lessen the impact on the environment.
Meet or exceed all applicable regulations to the environment at all locations.
Purchase non-polluting and energy efficient technologies wherever possible.
Establish an action plan with a regular review of progress.
Measure progress against set targets for resource efficiency and pollution reduction.
Assist suppliers and customers to promote greener products and services.
Report fully the environmental performance of the organisation to stakeholders and communities.
Environmental Protection and Waste Minimisation is the responsibility of every employee and persons working for and on behalf of the company. Every endeavour will be made to ensure that the Company meets its responsibilities by conforming to all applicable Environmental & Spiritual Legislation and regulatory requirements. Prime consideration will be given to the prevention of pollution and the elimination of waste and emissions at source whenever production processes or Company facilities are recognised.
Management will set continuous improvement targets on a regular basis based on risk assessment reviews and other factors. Management will also inform and educate all person(s) working for or on behalf of the Company, about environmental issues.
